Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Inventory and Kitting Manager to ensure accurate inventory, proper storage, and efficient warehouse management.

You will lead kitting staff and coordinate with Materials, planning, purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to support uninterrupted operations. This full-time role entails standard hours, with additional hours as needed to meet workload and production demands, located in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years’ experience in materials management, planning, or supply chain operations.
• EPICOR ERP experience required.
• Experience managing kitting operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Equipment preferred.
• Proven experience managing teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Lean principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage shifting priorities.
• Superior problem solving, project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements to support production schedules.
• Oversee inventory control for raw materials and WIP.
• Act as SME in EPICOR ERP for planning and inventory.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Identify inventory reduction and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and optimize kitting processes to ensure timely material availability.
• Manage kit creation, replenishment, staging, and ERP transactions.
• Collaborate with Production, Materials, Finance to support operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports and KPIs related to inventory turns and shortages.
• Mentor and manage inventory staff.
