Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a part-time Distribution Technician III to manage inventories for Procedural Inventory Areas. You will perform advanced inventory tasks, adjust ordering patterns, and ensure stock levels meet area needs while coordinating with the Supply Chain.

The role requires strong organizational skills, 3 years of warehouse stocking experience in a healthcare setting, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Three years of warehouse stocking experience, preferably in acute care.
• Knowledge of warehousing and inventory control best practices.
• Knowledge of storage and stock rotation of all supplies.
• Ability to use Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a periodic inventory of supplies for Procedural Inventory Areas.
• Performs daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Delivers and stocks inventory items in Procedural Inventory Area suites and storage areas.
• Picks up patient care equipment and restocks shelves as needed.
• Communicates with Procedural Inventory Area staff regarding back orders and stock levels.
