Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Distribution Technician to deliver, stock, and process orders for supplies across Parkland units, sterile processing, the pharmacy and the CDC warehouse. You will maintain PAR levels and perform inventory counts to ensure accurate, timely delivery to staff and patients.

You will rotate dated supplies, tag items for expense tracking, and communicate status of priority items to management to meet patient care needs in a clean, compliant warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write legibly.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with Parkland employees and patients.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and stocks supplies in Parkland units, sterile processing, the pharmacy and the CDC warehouse.
• Processes supply orders for units by pulling supplies to match PAR levels and placing them on carts.
• Fills outpatient orders to ensure timely service.
• Performs physical inventory counts and updates PAR levels in the system.
• Tags supplies for expense tracking and rotates dated products.
• Monitors priority items and communicates status to management to ensure complete orders.
• Maintains sanitary and orderly warehouse environments.
• Enters, updates and deletes PAR level information in the computer and runs reports.
• Identifies ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction.
