Job summary

Dashing Diva is seeking a data-driven Inventory Planning Assistant Manager in Port Washington, NY, to help optimize retail inventory health and forecast alignment. This role focuses on data, reporting, and risk identification, collaborating with Sales, Planning, and Supply Chain to improve stock levels and KPIs.

The ideal candidate will analyze sell-in/sell-out gaps, monitor coverage by retailer and SKU, and support S&OP processes while maintaining dashboards and item master data.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in inventory planning, demand planning, or retail supply planning.
• Experience analyzing retail sell-through and inventory performance.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience supporting S&OP processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Planning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and coverage by retailer and SKU.
• Identify and flag OOS and overstock risks.
• Analyze sell-in vs. sell-out gaps and prepare reports.
• Support forecast adjustments in partnership with Planning and Sales.
• Assist in S&OP preparation with inventory and demand insights.
• Maintain dashboards for WOS, fill rate, and inventory KPIs.
• Support line review preparation with inventory data.
• Maintain item master and safety stock parameters in ERP.
• Investigate inventory imbalances and elevate findings.
• Support projects to improve forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.
