Job summary

DENSO is seeking an Inventory and Cost Accountant to support inventory balances, COGS, and reserves across North America. You will partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to resolve issues and strengthen internal controls. You may lead project steps within broader initiatives and ensure timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in inventory/cost accounting, strong GAAP/IFRS understanding, and advanced Excel skills in a manufacturing/distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience with inventory/cost accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial close processes.

Responsibilities

• Compute cost value of raw materials and finished goods for inventory.
• Analyze actual vs standard costs and report variances.
• Prepare budget data and estimates for product costs.
• Manage month-end close journal entries for inventory.
• Lead period-end reconciliations of inventory-related GL accounts.
