Job summary

Ultipro is hiring a Senior Inventory Control Coordinator for 1st shift (7:30 am – 4:00 pm) to support inventory accuracy, coordinate daily control activities, and ensure materials are available to meet customer expectations for shipments and receipts of finished product.

This full-time role reports to the facility supervisor, may require weekends/holidays/overtime, and requires proficiency in Word/Excel, data management, RF scanner operation, and teamwork with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and data analysis ability.
• Ability to operate RF scanners and manage inventory data.
• Experience or willingness to learn product specifics at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, track orders, and investigate issues.
• Maintain database, perform physical counts, reconcile stock counts.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and document returns.
• Ensure safety and SOP adherence in daily tasks.
• Support inbound/outbound dock activities and train teammates.

• Pay or shift range: $23 USD to $25 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

We are hiring for a 1 st shift, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Senior Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory accuracy, coordinate daily inventory control activities, and serve as a resource to team members to help ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are available in the correct quantities to meet customer expectations for the shipment and receipt of finished product. This full-time position will report to the facility supervisor and may occasionally require weekends, holidays, and overtime.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders; and investigate issues.
• Maintain database, perform physical counts, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and claims, and respond professionally.
• Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
• Ensure all safety and position standards of operating procedures are followed.
• Support inbound and outbound dock activities while meeting WSI standards for condition, count, and time.
• Serve as a resource for team members on daily inventory activities.
• Support team member training on inventory processes, safety, systems, and customer requirements.
• Communicate priorities, inventory concerns, and updates to support smooth daily operations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Database Management.
• Basic math to ensure accurate counts including ability to analyze and problem-solve.
• Ability to operate technology equipment including Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventory.
• Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product handled at WSI.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.
• Ability to prioritize work, share knowledge, support team members, and communicate clearly and professionally.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience with detailed documents, processes, and procedures.
• Previous experience working in warehouse environment, preferred.
• Experience operating lift trucks with attachments such as forks, drum clamps or roll clamps, preferred.
• Prior experience serving as a subject matter resource, trainer, or experienced team member in a warehouse, inventory, or distribution environment, preferred.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended times throughout hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; and stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
• Ability to turn steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms provided by WSI.
