Job summary

Propeller Industries is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager - Inventory to lead inventory accounting for a portfolio of consumer brands. You will manage 1-3 accountants, oversee month-end close, and implement best practices in cost and inventory accounting.

In this remote role, you will collaborate with Directors, guide IMS selections (Cin7, Dear, Netsuite, Fishbowl), and train client staff while delivering timely financials and KPI insights.

Qualifications

• 7 years operational accounting experience.
• Experience building, managing and developing a team.
• Knowledge of multi-client environments and consulting tools.
• Experience with full close-cycle accounting.
• Experience with QBO and ERP systems a plus.
• Familiarity with inventory management and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage 1-3 team members and support career growth.
• Lead monthly and year-end close for client portfolio.
• Prepare consolidated financials and KPI analysis.
• Develop and implement scalable SOPs with strong controls.
• Train client and Propeller staff on inventory processes.
• Oversee inventory accounting and IMS system implementation.
