Warner Music Group is hiring a Sr. Accountant II - Inventory to manage advanced accounting and reporting for US labels. You’ll focus on finished goods, obsolescence, COGS, and reserve models, support monthly close, and ensure SOX compliance.

You’ll review staff work, analyze royalty expenses, and prepare audit documentation. Collaboration with domestic and international finance teams is essential. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5–6 years of experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
5-6 years of experience in Shared Services or corporate accounting.
Knowledge and experience with SAP.
Experience in a SOX controlled environment.
Experience conducting internal & external audits.
Experience with flux analysis and SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced tasks and analyses for monthly/quarterly financial reporting for US units focusing on finished goods, obsolescence, COGS, and reserve models.
Support monthly close: prepare/post journal entries, monitor sub-ledger interfaces, and ensure timely close deliverables.
Analyze royalty expenses and ensure assets/liabilities are GAAP-compliant.
Directly review staff task and journal preparation.
Assist with internal and external audit documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
