Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Ice Specialist in Ohio to provide expert technical and clinical support for intracardiac echocardiography during cardiac procedures. You will educate physicians on proper ICE usage, troubleshoot issues, and gather feedback to help improve Abbott’s ICE portfolio.

The role requires at least 6 years of experience in electrophysiology or related fields and a relevant clinical degree with RDCS/RCS certification.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in nursing, sonography, cardiovascular technology, or related clinical field or equivalent clinical experience.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in cardiovascular, electrophysiology, or structural heart procedures with ICE, TEE, TTE, and vascular ultrasound.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
RDCS or RCS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide expert support during Cardiac ablation and Structural Heart procedures, including case planning, preparation, and troubleshooting.
Maintain deep clinical knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and Intracardiac Echo technology, plus other imaging modalities like TEE and TTE.
Educate physicians, healthcare professionals, and Abbott team members on ICE product usage and efficacy.
Resolve technical issues and provide guidance on product usage through various channels.
Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams for product improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support objectives and product advancements.
