Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital is seeking an Invasive Specialist (Tech) III within Interventional Radiology. The role performs diagnostic imaging and supports cardiovascular procedures, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure high-quality studies and patient care.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, scrub assistance, equipment troubleshooting, and adherence to safety, documentation, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Three years’ Cardiac Catheterization lab experience required.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS; PALS may be required depending on unit needs.
• RCIS/RCES or CI certifications are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and equipment to achieve high quality images for interpretation.
• Assists physician as scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and department standards; ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Communicates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage procedures.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and supports quality initiatives.
