Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist to perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures supporting diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

The role requires radiologic technology credentials, BLS/ACLS, and strong clinical skills in hemodynamic monitoring, data handling, and team-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an approved radiologic technology program and certification/registration as a Radiologic Technologist (California).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized and routine diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Assists physicians in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
• Records, stores, retrieves, and analyzes data from interventional cardiovascular and radiologic procedures.
• Monitors patients and communicates ECG/rhythm changes to physicians; ensures aseptic technique.
• Maintains/operates and troubleshoots imaging equipment; sets up and monitors IABP equipment.
• Acts as preceptor/train other staff; participates in quality assurance and on-call standby coverage.
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring and documentation of procedures; may include Right/Left heart cath, coronary/angiography, pacemaker procedures, and other invasive studies.
• Operates hemodynamic computer systems and digital imaging transfer/storage.

Education

High School Diploma or GED; Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
