Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Oregon seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to assist credentialed providers in cardiac and vascular labs. You will support diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures, monitor radiation safety, prepare patients, operate hemodynamic equipment, and participate in after-hours on-call within 30 minutes.

Requires ARRT certification and state licensure; BLS/ACLS within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of cardiac cath lab, EP, or special procedures experience within the last 3 years.
• ARRT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• Licensed radiologic technologist in WA or OR.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS within hire timeframe.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures in cardiac/vascular labs.
• Monitor radiation safety and QA of x-ray equipment.
• Prepare patients, operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and record data.
• Maintain sterile fields and manage post-procedure hemostasis.
• On-call within 30 minutes and participate in team-based care.
