Job summary

BDO USA, LLP in the United States seeks an International Tax Senior Manager to advise clients on cross-border tax matters and optimize alignment with business objectives. You will market, network, and lead relationships within your area of specialization.

You will supervise international tax engagements, develop pricing strategies, and contribute to thought leadership and national alerts with the Tax Office. CPA or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of experience in corporate tax or international taxation
• Experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted) or EA (or equivalent) required
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Tax Consulting: develops, recommends and implements practical international tax ideas for client situations
• Tax Specialization: deepens understanding of international tax issues and serves as a resource for foreign jurisdictions
• Marketing and Business Development: exhibits thought leadership and partners with various teams to market services
• Research: identifies issues, conducts research and drafts detailed findings
• Tax Compliance: manages client engagements and reviews international tax aspects of US tax reporting
• Tax Controversy: represents clients before US tax authorities on international issues
• ASC 740-10: applies standards and coordinates with non-US colleagues
• Other duties as required
