Sigma Defense Systems LLC seeks a Senior International Agreements Specialist in Alexandria, VA to lead the planning, development, and administration of international defense agreements supporting RDT&E, acquisition, and security cooperation. You will coordinate across legal, policy, and technical teams and advise senior leadership on complex agreement issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in international agreements, defense cooperation, or related fields
• Expertise in developing, negotiating, and managing international agreements; drafting/reviewing technical and legal documents
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international laws, regulations, and policies for defense cooperation, disclosure, and tech transfer
• Detail-oriented document review, analysis, and strategic problem-solving
• Ability to coordinate with legal, policy, and technical experts and international partners
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on complex international agreement issues
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Reduce processing timelines for international defense agreements and improve quality
• Develop, negotiate, review, staff, coordinate, implement, and amend key bilateral/multilateral defense agreements
• Draft precise agreement language and negotiate technical provisions; reconcile comments
• Identify and resolve issues to reduce staffing delays and prevent duplicated work
• Maintain milestone tracking, action items, and agreement status reporting
• Ensure all agreements comply with DoD/IAR/EAR/Fiscal Law and other authorities
