Job summary

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomy at sea, seeks a Senior Contracts Manager – International to guide cross-border sales of autonomous vessels and related services. You will structure, negotiate, and administer complex FMS and Direct Commercial Sales contracts, interfacing with US government stakeholders and foreign counterparts.

You will ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, provide strategic contract advice, and supervise the full contract lifecycle from pre-award through close-out, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees a plus.
• 8+ years of contract management experience in defense/federal or international defense sales.
• Knowledge of FMS process, LORs, LOAs, DSCA roles, and U.S. Government intermediated sales.
• Knowledge of U.S. export controls.
• Proven track record negotiating, administering, and closing multi-year international contracts.
• Robust knowledge of data rights, IP, and technology transfer in cross-border deals.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen to review cost/price proposals and change orders.
• Familiarity with FCPA, OFAC and end-use monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interface with senior leadership and government officials.
• U.S. citizenship; Top Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full contract lifecycle for international programs (FMS and DCS).
• Interface with U.S. Government stakeholders and foreign counterparts; develop LOAs and related FMS documents.
• Structure and negotiate Direct Commercial Sales agreements with foreign customers.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR and export control requirements.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of international contracts.
• Provide strategic contract guidance aligning with corporate strategy and compliance.
• Act as primary contracting interface with foreign customers and government counterparts.
• Monitor performance, cost, schedule, and export-license conditions; escalate issues.
• Support business development with contract strategy and risk assessment for international pursuits.
• Stay updated on export controls and sanctions policies; update contracting templates.
