Job summary

Guidehouse in Springfield, VA seeks a Finance & Accounting consultant to help federal clients improve internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting in support of homeland security and national security programs. The role involves collaborating with client leadership, performing ICOFR testing, and contributing to audit readiness.

Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required; you will work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with opportunities to grow technical skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience in financial management, accounting, internal controls, or auditing.
• Experience with OMB Circular A-123 assessments and federal audits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in teams.
• U.S. security clearance eligibility: ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Support annual internal control planning and ICOFR testing.
• Evaluate internal controls and document processes.
• Provide audit liaison support for financial statement audits.
• Assist in risk management and remediation activities.
• Contribute to business development and client communications.
