Job summary

Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD seeks a Senior Communications Specialist in a hybrid, full-time role to guide internal HR communications, employee experience, and workplace culture.

You will partner with HR and leaders to craft timely, cross-channel messages, manage change communications, crisis responses, and align messaging with Luminis Health values of Respect, Inclusion, Service, and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PR/Comms/Journalism/English or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in communications.
• Proven experience developing and executing communication strategies that align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR internal communications related to employee experience, workplace culture, DEI, benefits, performance management, and career development.
• Develop and implement integrated communication plans with HR and senior leaders.
• Translate HR strategies into messaging for diverse audiences across the system.
• Create and deliver communications across channels: talking points, newsletters, intranet, change management, executive memos, video scripts, and social content.
• Serve as communications advisor during crisis, sensitive workforce matters, and high-profile events.
