The position offers exposure to multiple areas of NextEra Energy, including SOX testing, internal audits, and investigations, in a dynamic, centralized audit program. A background in accounting, procurement, and risk is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting/finance (required).
• Experience in accounting, procurement, compliance, and/or risk.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Develops and improves audit standards and processes.
• Directs large, complex audit projects with scope and reports.
• Conducts audits independently with minimal supervision.
• Writes audit reports with minimal changes.
• Mentors new Internal Auditors.
• Performs Sarbanes-Oxley testing as needed.
• Performs other audit-related duties as assigned.
