Job summary

The Freeman Company seeks a Senior Staff Auditor to lead internal audits across corporate and branch locations, performing risk assessment, testing, and reporting with strong collaboration and independence.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in internal audit, solid data analytics skills, and the ability to partner with operating leaders to drive improvements. Hybrid in-office/show-site schedule supports collaboration and autonomy.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in corporate internal audit, public accounting, with a focus on operational and/or financial audits.
• ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC2 experience is a plus.
• Proficient in data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, SAP, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead audit engagements, including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and reporting in line with IIA Standards and COSO.
• Assist in development and timely execution of the Internal Audit annual plan.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify improvement opportunities across corporate and branch locations.
• Mentor Staff Auditors through planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and management action plans.
