The Freeman Company is seeking a Senior Staff Auditor to lead internal audits across corporate and branch locations, focusing on financial, operational, and IT controls. This role requires strong communication and data analytics skills, with travel up to 25% and a hybrid in-office/show-site schedule.

Based in the Dallas area with flexible office locations including Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, and San Antonio, TX, the ideal candidate will guide audit teams and collaborate with leaders to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in internal audit focusing on operational/financial audits.
• CPA/CIA/CISA preferred; events/tradeshow industry experience is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Internal Audit annual plan.
• Assess risks and controls across financial, IT, and operations.
• Lead audit engagements from planning to reporting with COSO guidance.
• Mentor Staff Auditor through audits and reporting phases.
• Prepare concise audit observations and management action plans.
