Job summary

The Freeman Company seeks a Senior Staff Auditor to lead operational, financial, and IT audits across corporate and branch locations from its Dallas area offices. The role emphasizes risk assessment, control testing, and reporting with collaboration across leaders and functions.

You will support the audit lifecycle, mentor staff auditors, and contribute to continuous improvement of our internal controls and governance. Hybrid schedule is option; travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related business subject matter.
• 3–6 years of experience in corporate internal audit or public accounting with focus on audits.
• Events/tradeshow industry experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Internal Audit annual plan.
• Identify and document financial, operational, IT, and compliance risks and controls.
• Lead audit engagements across corporate and branch locations per IIA standards.
• Draft observations, communicate results to management, and coordinate remediation.
