Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits of operations including budgeting, procurement, IT, and compliance.
• Prepare audit narratives detailing purpose, sources, findings, and recommendations.
• Report findings to the State Treasurer and Senior staff, proposing improvements.
• Collaborate with Legislative Auditor and support special projects across departments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in accounting or related fields

Bachelor’s degree + CPA/CFE/CIA

Six years of accounting or auditing experience

Six years of full-time experience in any field + 24 sem hrs in accounting/auditing/finance/related

Advanced degree in accounting/finance/business/economics with related experience
