Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking an Auditor to conduct thorough internal audits of procedures, records and documents and ensure compliance with policies and internal controls. You will work with the Finance team and report findings to local leadership to safeguard organizational assets.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in Accounting/Finance, CIA certification (or eligibility), three years of audit experience, and proficiency in MS Office and audit software.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area from an accredited college or university.
• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification required or eligible.
• CFE and/or CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits across financial processes, assets, and controls.
• Schedule closing meetings and present findings to local leadership.
• Assist in audits of the Territorial Headquarters Finance Department.
• Verify compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.
