Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. The role emphasizes financial, operational, and compliance audits with a remote work option across the United States. You will leverage data analytics and AI tools to expand coverage, identify risks, and drive efficient, compliant processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in auditing or finance, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. CPA/CIA/CFE are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of internal audit, external audit, finance, or accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across US; CPA/CIA/CFE a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver financial and operational audits within scope and timelines.
• Assess risks, controls, and processes; document findings with evidence.
• Use analytics and AI tools to enhance audit coverage and efficiency.
• Develop actionable, risk-based audit recommendations and follow up on actions.
• Communicate results clearly to management and monitor remediation progress.
• Support special projects, investigations, and due diligence as needed.
