Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen risk management, governance, and internal controls while gaining broad exposure to Biogen’s processes and business objectives. You will work with Audit Management and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across the organization.

You will execute risk‑based audits, identify control gaps, and draft evidence‑based observations. This role offers growth within Internal Audit and the life sciences industry, including exposure to SOX

Qualifications

• 2+ years of external or internal audit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Working knowledge of internal controls, audit methodology, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based audits from planning through reporting under Audit Management.
• Apply a risk‑based approach to identify key risks and assess control design.
• Lead interviews and walkthroughs for assigned areas with clear documentation.
• Perform audit procedures and draft observations with recommendations.
• Support audit reporting and ensure workpapers support conclusions.
