Job summary

The Internal Auditor at Utah Transit Authority (UTA) will plan, develop, and provide independent auditing services to UTA management and the Transit Commission. It conducts objective analyses and makes recommendations on financial, operational, asset, development, and performance activities.

The role also manages contracts with vendors who assist with outsourced audits and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business (to include computer programming and design) required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed CIA or CPA.
