Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is seeking an Internal Auditor to plan, develop, and provide independent auditing services to UTA management and the Transit Commission. The role conducts objective analyses and makes recommendations across financial, operational, asset, development, and performance activities.

The Internal Auditor is an officer by statute and manages contracts with vendors aiding outsourced audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed CIA or CPA.
• Education/Training includes computer programming and design.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, recommend, and provide independent auditing services to UTA management and the Transit Commission.
• Conduct objective analyses and make recommendations on financial, operational, asset, development, and performance activities.
• Manage contracts associated with vendors who assist with outsourced audits.
