Job summary

Qualifications

Title: Senior Internal Auditor

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay: $40.00-$45.00/hr

Schedule: Standard Office Hours (on-site)

Duration: 3-Month Contract

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for executing SOX testing within the Americas region, including Costa Rica and LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute business process SOX key control testing for operations in Irvine, Utah, and Costa Rica.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, internal controls, and best practices.
• Demonstrate accountability for meeting established SOX testing deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all work performed.

Required Skills

• Substantial understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
• Substantial knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and internal controls.
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting established timelines and deadlines.
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively elevate issues to appropriate management.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related accounting software.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required.
• Eight years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
• Advanced degree in a financial discipline preferred.
