Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor (SOX)

Pay Rate: $45 to $50.86/HR

Duration: 3 months

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Our Client is a Global medical device Manufacturer.

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor (SOX) to execute SOX testing in the Americas region (including Costa Rica and LATAM).

• Execute business process SOX key control testing for Irvine, Utah, and Costa Rica.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, internal controls, and best practices.
• Demonstrate accountability for meeting established SOX testing deadlines.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy and quality of work performed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
• 8 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
• Substantial understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
• Substantial knowledge of financial concepts and principles and internal controls
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting established timelines and due dates.
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively elevate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
