Buckingham Search is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for a Chicago-based commercial bank. You will lead audits across finance, operations, compliance and technology, and present findings to senior leaders. The role supports a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the downtown office and 2 remote days.

Required: 3–4+ years of audit experience; CPA/CIA/CAMS/CISA preferred; strong writing and stakeholder influence. Banking/regulatory knowledge is a plus; must be able to work in the U.S.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 3–4+ years of external or internal audit experience, ideally in financial services.
• CPA, CIA, CAMS or CISA preferred; banking and regulatory knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with audit management software and an interest in analytics and AI.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary of $95,000-$115,000, depending on experience
• Discretionary bonus eligibility
