Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis seeks an Assistant General Auditor to lead the district's internal audit program and strategy. You will oversee risk-based audits, advise leadership, and coordinate with the System and external auditors to strengthen controls.

The role requires strong management, budget oversight of multi-million dollars, and collaboration with district leaders to ensure ethical standards and high performance across the Bank and System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public accounting, internal auditing, compliance, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing, or compliance.
• 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in risk and compliance, audit, and program/project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of internal audit program and reporting to leadership.
• Strengthen audit function and reduce deficiencies locally and nationally.
• Develop Audit department strategy with the General Auditor.
• Manage district budget of $3+ million annually.
• Coordinate internal audit support with risk management and external audits.
• Represent Bank in System initiatives and committees.
