Planet Group is seeking an Internal Audit Director in a role open to candidates in Downers Grove, Atlanta, and New York. This full-time position offers 5-month contracting with potential conversion, and a pay rate of 90–100/hour.

You will lead a talented audit team, manage executive relationships, and drive risk-based, data-driven audits across the organization. Strong asset management knowledge and agile approaches are valued.

Qualifikationen

• CPA or CIA certification (or pursuing) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as an auditor in asset management.
• Proven experience leading audit teams.
• Ability to coach a senior team and manage relationships with executives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.

Aufgaben

• Provide thought leadership in maintaining a dynamic audit universe and risk assessment.
• Plan and conduct audits across the full audit cycle: planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Identify key processes, risks and controls; prepare audit programs and test procedures.
• Communicate recommendations to remediate control deficiencies.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels within business lines and control functions.
• Monitor action plans and perform substantive tests of compliance as needed.
• Coach and develop staff; support performance management processes.
