Charles Schwab seeks a seasoned Internal Audit Senior Manager, Standards and Training, to lead the evolution of IAD methodologies and training. You will guide auditors at all levels, oversee documentation, and drive consistency across the department in a large financial institution.

You will develop guidance, manage SharePoint resources, and partner with risk functions to enhance audit quality and efficiency. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Seven+ years of internal audit experience in financial services, public accounting, or regulatory setting.
• At least three years in a management, supervisory, or leadership role.
• Strong writing skills with audit procedural content development experience.
• Experience evaluating risks and controls across audit lifecycle.
• Ability to assess design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of controls, including IT-dependent and automated controls.
• Experience identifying issues, root causes, and remediation actions with clear documentation.
• Strong knowledge of IIA Standards and FRB guidance; risk management practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead updates to IAD charter, policies, templates, and guidance for consistent methodology across IAD.
• Collaborate across IAD to manage change, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Coach auditors on methodology topics, risk assessment, controls, sampling, and issue validation.
• Develop instructional guidance, manuals, and templates to support audit tasks and learning.
• Maintain and organize methodology in SharePoint and audit management system.
• Identify training needs and deliver effective training across the department.
• Coordinate with other risk functions to align policies and assurance activities.
• Provide leadership and influence without direct reporting lines.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI to enhance audit effectiveness.
