Job summary

NBBJ Seattle is seeking an experienced Interiors Project Architect to strengthen our Seattle Interiors practice, focusing on corporate workplace accounts, tenant improvements and complex campuses. The role demands 8–12+ years in interiors or architectural fields, a degree in Architecture/Interior Architecture, and advanced Revit/BIM skills; licensure is preferred.

This position is based in the United States with competitive base pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12+ years of experience in interiors or the architectural field on corporate/workplace projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• Architectural licensure preferred; LEED/WELL accreditation a plus.
• Advanced Revit/BIM capability; experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, MS Office.
• Strong interior documentation, detailing, accessibility, life-safety, coordination, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in executing corporate interiors and workplace projects from early design through construction administration.
• Identify objectives with clients and communicate implications clearly.
• Establish work priorities for design, documentation, scheduling and budgeting.
• Translate design concepts into workable construction systems while maintaining design intent.
• Develop contract documents for construction of new buildings and alterations.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, vendors and internal disciplines.
• Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Lead team members on documentation standards, Revit workflows and coordination.
• Participate in construction administration with RFIs, submittals, site visits and issue resolution.
• Support repeat corporate account work with responsiveness and delivery reliability.
• May contribute to marketing efforts with technical/project delivery content.
