Job summary

Enclave is hiring an Interior Designer III to lead interior design from concept to installation for multifamily, industrial, and commercial projects in the Midwest. You’ll partner with in‑house teams and external partners to deliver thoughtful spaces on budget and schedule.

With 5+ years in interior design and a strong eye for detail, you’ll drive layouts, materials, FF&E, and presentations, collaborating across vendors and contractors to ensure program success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing & executing design concepts in an Interior Design, or similar role
• 2+ years of experience leading the design process for Commercial and Multi‑Family construction projects
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field preferred
• Expert in layout, color, lighting, materials, and FF&E procurement and installation
• Impressive attention to detail with ability to visualize & translate design style
• Must have a passion for excellence and a drive to set the bar with unique and innovative ideas
• Exceptional leader, with experience developing & inspiring other design professionals
• An independent self‑starter who needs limited direction to set & accomplish project goals
• Proven success in managing multiple design projects & concepts at one time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to determine project design goals and objectives
• Use architectural and construction documents to conceptualize interior and exterior design
• Collect and distribute design content for virtual renderings, illustrations, and marketing assets
• Create digital presentations and design boards to visualize finish materials, furnishings, and fixtures
• Develop interior finish legend and light fixture schedule for common areas and units
• Build design budgets and schedules and document all design activities and expenses
• Maintain partnerships with outside design vendors, consultants, and artists
• Coordinate with construction on purchase, delivery, and installation of FF&E
• Provide knowledge of future trends and developments in the design space
• Perform other duties as assigned
