Job summary

Consulting For Architects, Inc. seeks a Senior Interior Designer for a Brooklyn studio on long-term luxury hospitality projects. You will lead design studies, review construction documentation, and coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and teams from concept through construction administration.

Two hotel projects require strong presentation skills, Revit/AutoCAD proficiency, and a bold portfolio. In-office role with Wednesdays at home, offering collaboration with an award‑driven design team.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Extensive luxury hospitality project experience.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury hospitality work.
• Experience with Rhino.
• Experience preparing presentation materials and design studies.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, shop drawing review, and construction administration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support luxury hospitality projects from concept through construction administration.
• Develop design studies, layouts, space planning, and presentation materials.
• Produce and refine drawings using AutoCAD and Rhino.
• Create client presentations, mood boards, and visual materials using InDesign and Photoshop.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field conditions for design intent and quality.
• Assist with specification development and coordination with vendors and fabricators.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior designers and maintain design standards.
• Participate in client meetings, showroom visits, site visits, and project coordination.
