Job summary

DesignForce is seeking a mid- to senior-level Interior Designer to join our Northern Virginia studio. Lead design development through construction across commercial, workplace, healthcare, and hospitality projects.

You will shape projects from concept to documentation, coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high-quality standards and schedule discipline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interior design experience.
• Accredited degree in Interior Design/Architecture.
• NCIDQ/CID certification preferred.
• Revit BIM experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design & documentation from concept through construction.
• Revit BIM modeling and standards adherence.
• Code compliance and sustainability requirements.
• Space planning and finishes programming and specification.
• Coordinate with consultants and engineers.
• QA/QC of design and deliverables.
• Prepare and present client materials and estimates.
• Manage project schedules and milestones.
• Mentor junior staff on design practice.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth.
