Job summary

Shive-Hattery seeks a Sr. Interior Designer with 8+ years of experience to lead gaming and hospitality interior design from programming through documentation.

You will collaborate with the project architect and interior design team to deliver thoughtful, high‑quality solutions for diverse clients. You’ll contribute to concept development, BIM modeling, and client presentations while guiding project delivery and ensuring standards are met across phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design required or equivalent
• NCIDQ Certification preferred or ability to become certified
• Ability to develop, communicate, and present design concepts with the project team, clients, and vendors
• Experience in hospitality projects preferred
• Proficiency with REVIT, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and procurement/installation management

Responsibilities

• Engage with the project team from programming through documentation to implementation
• Collaborate with project architect and interior design team on all project delivery aspects
• Assist in design presentation development
• Revit/BIM modeling and project documentation
• Follow project development and production standards
• Pursue ongoing career training and education
