Job summary

Raegan Ford Design is seeking an experienced interior designer to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. This in-office role focuses on FF&E and design curation, guiding projects from concept through installation with support from senior designers.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of industry experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office to develop plans, elevations, and detailed proposals for clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (ability to work quickly and accurately on plans and elevations).
• Experience with FF&E design, sourcing, and specification.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Degree from an accredited interior design program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum travel, 4-6 projects per year.
• In office position.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with guidance from the Principal Designer to develop design concepts, material selections, and overall design intent.
• Develop floor plans and elevations in Auto CAD to support space planning and design intent.
• Prepare detailed FF&E proposals aligned with project budgets and timelines.
• Lead and support client installations, coordinating closely with the operations team to deliver a seamless project.
• Maintain vendor relationships, request quotes, and manage specifications and procurement details.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior team members.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure projects stay on track and aligned with design goals.
• Take initiative, problem-solve, and communicate proactively with team members and clients.
