Job summary

Larsremodel is seeking a Senior Interior Designer in San Diego, CA to lead design efforts from concept to completion. You will assess client needs, develop concepts, perform field measurements, space planning, and source products and materials.

You will present to clients and manage multiple deadlines while mentoring junior staff and supporting the Director of Interior Design. You will coordinate with the design team, estimators, and trade partners to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Design and Architecture is required.
• Certified Interior Designer is preferred.
• CA Driver's License is required.
• 3-5 years of management experience within the interior design industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with clients and internal teams to advance design development.
• Prepare concept development, space planning, and visual plan layouts.
• Attend client meetings and create presentations for approvals and milestones.
• Mentor Junior Interior Designers and oversee design staff performance.
• Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and trade partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Use design software to model, source materials, and produce tile drawings.
