Job summary

Lars Remodeling & Design in San Diego is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our team for a full-time, in-office position. No telecommuting or consulting. You will work under Residential Designers to keep projects progressing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field and experience with AutoCAD/Revit, plus strong organizational skills for multitasking across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Environmental Design or related field.
• Working knowledge of basic design principles, materials, construction techniques and building codes.
• Construction background preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and perform administrative tasks.
• Create redlines, field measurements, and as-built drawings.
• Scan and file documents; conduct field verifications.
• Collaborate with Residential Designers to keep projects on schedule.

Lars Remodeling & Design, an award-winning home remodeling company in San Diego, specializing in residential remodels and new home construction, is seeking anArchitectural Drafter to join our growing team of professionals. This is a full-time, office-based position. No telecommuting. No consulting. Please do not apply if you are unable to work in our San Diego office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Architectural Drafter is responsible for project management, administrative tasks, redlines, field measurements, as-built drawings, scanning and filing, and field verifications. This position will work under the direction of the Residential Designers to keep projects progressing, on task and on schedule in every aspect or phase of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design or related field.
• Working knowledge of basic design principles, materials, construction techniques and building codes.
• Construction background preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
