Job summary

Moody Nolan is seeking a Senior Interior Designer/Interior Architect to lead interior design efforts on large, complex projects across multiple market sectors, including workplace and education. The role emphasizes design leadership, client engagement, and coordination with architects and consultants, with a hybrid Columbus, OH-based setup and opportunities for travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional interior design experience in large, multidisciplinary firms.
• NCIDQ Certification required or Architecture registration accepted in lieu of NCIDQ.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from programming through construction administration.
• Coordinate interior and architectural design solutions with Project Architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce design documentation: drawings, schedules, specifications, renderings, and presentations.
• Support RFIs, submittals, site visits, and punch lists during construction administration.
• Present design concepts to clients and participate in design charrettes.
