Job summary

DS Architecture, a Northeast Ohio design firm, seeks an experienced interior designer to lead a broad range of interior design assignments, develop concepts and documentation, and coordinate with consultants and project teams.

The role requires independence, advanced knowledge of interior design principles, materials, building systems, codes, and project delivery processes, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff.

Qualifications

• Professional Interior Design degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum firm experience – 7 years beyond graduation.
• Proficient in REVIT.
• Adobe Creative Cloud competency.

Responsibilities

• An experienced interior designer who independently performs a broad range of interior design assignments, develops design concepts and documentation, coordinates with consultants and project teams, and oversee portions of projects or mentor junior staff.
• Works with limited supervision and applies advanced knowledge of interior design principles, materials, building systems, codes, and project delivery processes
• Support project managers and studio directors to improve communication and efficiency; provide feedback for improvement.
