Job summary

JPI, a leading real estate developer, seeks a Senior Interior Designer for our Central Development team in Dallas, TX. You will own the interior design process and documentation, collaborating with development, architecture, and construction teams to deliver cohesive interiors reflecting project vision, budget, and branding.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of multifamily design experience, a design-driven mindset, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design is required or advanced toward professional registration
• 5–7 years’ experience on a design team for multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality projects
• NCIDQ/RID preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design vision and concept development for multifamily projects with direction from the Director of ID
• Translate conceptual direction into fully realized design solutions aligned with budgets and branding
• Lead ID process to ensure compliance with quality, design, and building codes
• Select finishes, materials, lighting, and furnishings focused on quality and aesthetics
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure design intent is carried through to the built environment
• Mentor junior designers and oversee drafting support teams
• Support procurement by coordinating FF&E selections and documentation
