Working closely with the Director of Interior Design, you’ll be involved in every phase of the design process—from concept to installation—crafting exceptional spaces for discerning clients in NYC, L.A., and major markets in Florida and Texas. Your deep knowledge of luxury vendors and the residential design process will be key in bringing our clients' visions to life. Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience.
- Previous experience in high-end residential is a must.
- Excellent presentation skills, including the generation of presentations and the articulation of design information to clients.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be comfortable presenting ideas, guiding clients, and leading discussions with contractors and vendors.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic, and creative environment.
- Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities efficiently.
- Creative & Strategic Thinker. Ability to balance design vision with practical execution.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a “can-do” attitude.
- High personal values and ethics, with the ability to take responsibility and set high expectations for self and team.
- Basic knowledge of current building codes and ADA requirements.
- Knowledge of national and online showrooms and resources, luxury vendors, and furniture producers, as well as industry trends.
- Proficiency in writing specifications and reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
- Knowledge of design history and historical styles, and the ability to design within varying aesthetic constraints.
