Job summary

Chambers is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 7–15 years' experience to lead high-end hospitality and residential interiors. The role requires a degree in Interior Design and fluency with AutoCAD and BIM software, plus Adobe Creative Suite.

You will manage client meetings, coordinate with architects and consultants, and deliver interior drawing sets, schedules, and FF&E specifications as lead designer and project manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
  • Proven experience with upscale hospitality or residential interiors.
  • Ability to envision and enact design concepts that enhance experiences.
  • Fluency in AutoCAD, REVIT, or other BIM software.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated sketching ability preferred.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred with active record in good standing.
  • LEED accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead designer and project manager on exclusive projects.
  • Manage all project-related tasks, client meetings, coordination with operators, and purchasing.
  • Collaborate with clients, in-house design team, architects, and consultants.
  • Generate project deliverables such as interior drawing sets, schedules, and FF&E specs.
  • Represent Chambers with clients, suppliers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Engage with professional organizations (ASID, NCIDQ, NEWH).
  • Interact with high-end private club clientele and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Working directly with the Director of Interior Design and serving as the lead designer and project manager on exclusive projects
  • Managing all project-related tasks, client meetings, coordination with operators, and purchasing
  • Collaborating with clients, in-house design team, architects, and consultants
  • Coordinating closely with the Director of Interior Design to generate project deliverables such as interior drawing sets, project schedules, and FF&E specifications
  • Serving as a Chambers representative for clients as well as suppliers, vendors, and colleagues within the industry
  • Maintaining a strong presence in professional organizations (ASID, NCIDQ, NEWH, etc.)
  • Engaging with our high-end private club clientele and other key stakeholders
