Job summary

Semmelmann Interiors in Fort Worth, Texas, seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead luxury residential projects from concept to installation. This full-time, on-site role requires directing client presentations, design direction, and major decisions across finishes, furnishings, and details.

You will coordinate with architects, builders, contractors, and vendors; review drawings; and manage timelines. A strong portfolio and experience with high-end interiors are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional residential interior design experience.
• Experience leading high-end or luxury residential projects.
• Sophisticated portfolio of complete, cohesive residential interiors.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and architectural detailing.
• Experience guiding affluent clients through design and financial decisions.
• Deep knowledge of luxury furnishings, textiles, custom upholstery and finishes.
• Ability to read and review architectural and construction drawings.
• Strong AutoCAD or comparable drafting skills.

You’ll Lead:

• Complete luxury residential projects from initial concept through final installation
• Client presentations, design direction, and major design decisions
• Space planning, architectural finishes, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, flooring, stone, and specialty details
• Furnishings, custom upholstery, textiles, rugs, wallcoverings, window treatments, art, and accessories
• Coordination with architects, builders, contractors, craftspeople, vendors, and internal design teams
• Construction drawing review, specifications, markups, and technical documentation
• Project priorities, deadlines, outstanding decisions, and overall forward momentum
• Associate and technical designers supporting your projects

You May Be a Strong Fit If You Have:
