Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Interior Alerts Design and Release Engineer (DRE) to lead component and system design, development, and release for Client production vehicles.

You will oversee FMEA, DVP&R, EBOM, and change management, collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and ensure packaging, validation, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires a ABET-accredited degree and 3 years automotive experience, with strong CAD and Teamcenter skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3 years of automotive engineering experience.
• Mechatronic design and release experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead component and system design, development, and release for Client production vehicles.
• Oversee FMEA, DVP&R, EBOM, change management (CCD/WebCN).
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams; provide on-site support.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality objectives are met.
