Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Data Conversion and Interface specialist to support interface development and data conversion projects in the United States. The role emphasizes implementing interface tools, maintaining tool sets, and ensuring adherence to the Altera data schema.

You will also install software on customer servers, design test plans, and provide advanced 3rd level interface support, collaborating with customers and vendors on specifications and workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with interface development and data conversion
• Ability to build and maintain new tool sets
• Expert knowledge of Altera data schema
• Negotiate interface or data conversion specifications and plans for implementation with customers/vendors
• Install software on customer servers
• Create test plan templates and test with customers/vendors to ensure functionality
• Provide interface and related workflow solutions within guidelines of the team
• Provide 3rd level interface support

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency with interface or data conversion development and implementation tools used by the team
• Ability to build and maintain new tool sets
• Expert level knowledge of Altera data schema
• Negotiate interface or data conversion specifications and plans for implementation with customer/vendors for those that deviate from standard
• Install software and interface definition on customer’s servers
• Create test plan templates and test with customer/vendor to ensure that functionality meets the needs of the customer
• Provide interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the interface team’s custom request procedures
• Provide technical assistance to other departments in relation to interface development and installation
• Provide 3rd level interface support
