Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior professional to lead interface management for the Fab 62 program at Chandler, AZ. You will own interface governance, drive cross-subcontractor coordination, and ensure timely handoffs between design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

You will maintain interface documentation, establish owners and approvals, and work with Supply Chain and Contracts to embed interface requirements into bids and subcontracts, ensuring alignment with project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience managing interfaces in a multi-subcontractor environment across engineering, procurement, construction or commissioning.
• Ability to read critical path schedules and link interface commitments to milestones.
• Proficient in document control systems and interface documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the interface management plan and interface register within the Project Execution Plan.
• Define scope splits and boundaries between contract packages and ensure formal agreement.
• Chair cross-subcontractor interface meetings and resolve sequencing conflicts to protect critical path.
• Define interface points between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up.
• Maintain interface documentation and drive closure on IFD/IFC deliveries.
• Embed interface requirements into bids and subcontracts through division-of-responsibility matrices.
